Theatreworks/USA's Story Salad Productions strives to give children a taste for the magic of theater, while reinforcing their love of reading. Harrison's "Johnny Appleseed," and Bonnie Worth's "Jumbo: The Most Famous Elephant in the World." Of course, the star of the show is Peggy Parish's beloved and befuddled maid, Amelia Bedelia. It includes musical medleys of popular "little books," including Martha F. Suitable for children in grades K through 4, this fast-paced performance is the newest program by Theatreworks/USA's Story Salad Productions, a highly regarded national children's theater company. The ArtsBound performances are sponsored in part by the Greater Bridgeport Area Foundation, The Herman Goldman Foundation and the Harry Chapin Foundation. and noon are part of the Quick Center's ArtsBound Schoolday Series. Beloved children's book tales and an all-new sing-along are just part of the fun in the new musical revue "Come Back, Amelia Bedelia and Other Stories," on Sunday, Nov.
